Job Title: Senior Security Personnel

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Personnel to oversee and manage the security operations within our corporate setting in Ota, Ogun State.
• The ideal candidate will have about 10 years of security experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• This role will involve ensuring the safety and security of our employees, assets, and premises, as well as leading the security team in providing a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of security personnel, ensuring the proper implementation of security protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular training and performance assessments for the security team to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Provide direction and ensure that all security staff are aware of their daily duties and expectations.
• Oversee the protection of the company’s premises, assets, and employees, ensuring effective monitoring and surveillance.
• Conduct routine security checks, inspections, and audits of security systems and equipment.
• Respond to and manage any security incidents, accidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or other authorities when necessary.
• Investigate and report on security breaches, ensuring that preventive measures are put in place to avoid recurrence.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Prepare and implement security plans to mitigate risks and improve the overall security posture of the organization.
• Ensure the proper operation of all security systems, such as surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Recommend and coordinate upgrades or repairs to security equipment when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification
• About 10 years of experience in security management within the corporate sector, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services.
• Proven experience in handling security incidents and liaising with law enforcement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with security technology and equipment.
• Relevant certifications or training in security management.
• Must reside within Ota.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
