Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business growth efforts in the electro-mechanical equipment industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building relationships with key clients and partners.
Key Responsibilites
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and increase market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams, to develop and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics to measure business development success.
Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring that all sales and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Provide input into product development and improvement, based on client feedback and market research.
Develop and manage a network of agents, distributors, and partners to expand the company's reach and capabilities.
Stay up to date on industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the electro-mechanical equipment industry.
Proven track record of driving business growth, increasing sales, and expanding market share.
Strong understanding of the electro-mechanical equipment industry, including market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other business productivity tools.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications, such as Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP).
Experience working in a multinational company or a company with a global presence.
Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as IoT, AI, and robotics, and their applications in the electro-mechanical equipment industry.
