We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Primary School Teacher

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Incorporate technology and interactive tools to enhance the learning experience.

Classroom Management:

• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Foster discipline and respect among students while encouraging participation and collaboration.
• Address individual student needs through differentiated instruction.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

• Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and other assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to support student growth.

Student Development:

• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Support students' emotional and social development through guidance and mentoring.
• Organize extracurricular activities, including clubs and events, to enhance students' holistic growth.

Collaboration and Professional Development:

• Work closely with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a unified approach to student education.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
• Participate in curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.

Administrative Duties:

• Prepare lesson plans, progress reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as a primary school teacher or a related role is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of teaching methods and child development principles.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Creativity, patience, and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools and platforms.
• Prepared Candidates should live around surulere and environs.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
