We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative (Bakery Ingredients)

Locations: Lagos, Warri - Delta, and Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to promote and sell innovative bakery ingredients, including bread improvers, softeners, and specialty products.
  • This role requires a proactive individual who can build strong relationships with bakeries, understand their challenges, and provide tailored solutions to help them enhance their processes and profitability.

Responsibilities
Sales and Client Management:

  • Identify and target bakeries and food businesses within your assigned territory.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets to drive revenue growth.

Product Promotion:

  • Showcase the benefits of cutting-edge bakery ingredients, such as bread improvers and softeners.
  • Coordinate product trials and demonstrations with potential customers to highlight product value.
  • Train customers on the practical and technical applications of the products.

Market Research and Feedback:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collect feedback on product performance to inform product development and improvement initiatives.

Technical Support:

  • Partner with the technical team to address client concerns and troubleshoot baking challenges.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions to optimize baking processes and improve product outcomes.

Reporting and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of client visits, sales activities, and market insights.
  • Prepare and submit detailed sales reports on a weekly or monthly basis.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the bakery or food ingredients industry.
  • Strong knowledge of baking processes and ingredients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
