Description
The key purpose of this role to support the development and execution of the Indirect Procurement Sourcing Strategy by ensuring effective spend control, driving negotiation strategies, ensuring compliance, and optimizing supplier performance.
This includes deep-diving into the ZBB Spend portfolio, analyzing market dynamics, tracking benefits, mitigating risks, and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement sourcing strategies and ensure operational excellence.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support Indirect Procurement Sourcing Strategy Development
Understand, deep dive and keep very strong control on the 5 Packs ZBB Spend portfolio ensuring actual spend is consistently in alignment with budget
Develop, lead and drive negotiation strategies for the category
Identify and track benefits (monetary and non-monetary), mitigate the risks and ensure compliance governance is in place
Collate all necessary zone analytics related to the category
Analyze spend and user specific requirements
Conduct market research to assess zone dynamics related to the category
Support Sourcing Strategy Execution
Ensure readiness across both zone and country for strategy execution
Escalate where necessary supplier performance issues
Support Collaborative Optimization activities where applicable
Handle second level escalations with suppliers/internal stakeholders to resolve performance issues
Collaborate with supplier and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of Category managers sourcing outputs / agreements
Ensure suppliers are correctly enabled through Regional Procurement Shared Services (RPSS)
Ensure contractual terms & conditions are effectively “operationalized” within business
Manage the relationship and drive collaboration with all stakeholders at functional, regional and global level.

Good knowledge, understanding and use of Microsoft Office tools
Good analytics skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Sound knowledge of procurement systems like Ariba and use of eRFX and eAuction
Knowledge of SAP an advantage
Good presentation skills and experience of facilitating workshops/brainstorm sessions
Being highly adaptable to frequent and rapid changes in workflow and project execution and willing to take on new challenges
Capacity to work flexibly, proactively and unsupervised both individually and within a global team
Ability to comfortably liaise across functions and at a senior level
Willingness to learn and develop both the role and personally

Minimum Requirements
Education:
Minimum of B.Sc./HND in any related discipline.
Experience:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
5+ years of procurement experience managing categories (Indirect Spend preferable)
Regional or Global category management experience
Sound knowledge and understanding of procurement strategic sourcing methodology
