Job Title: Chief Research and Content Officer (CRCO)

Job Summary

  • The Chief Research and Content Officer (CRCO) is a key strategic leader responsible for driving the research, content development, and programming initiatives of the 24-hour television station.
  • With a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience, the CRCO will oversee the creation and curation of compelling, engaging, and relevant content that aligns with the station's brand, target audience, and strategic objectives.
  • The CRCO will spearhead the research and analysis efforts to identify emerging trends, audience preferences, and content opportunities, ensuring the station remains at the forefront of the industry.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of proven track record in a research and content leadership role within the media/broadcasting industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive research and content strategies that drive the station's growth, enhance audience engagement, and strengthen its market position.
  • Exceptional analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and leverage insights to inform content planning and programming decisions.
  • Strong understanding of content creation, production, and distribution, with the ability to lead a team of talented content creators, researchers, and producers.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of high-quality content.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments (e.g., marketing, operations, and technology) to align content initiatives with the station's overall strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences, and quickly adapt the station's content strategy to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
