Job Title: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Job Summary

  • The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for leading the revenue generation and growth strategies for the leading broadcast organization.
  • With a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience, the CRO will leverage their expertise to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities, drive sales, and optimize the organization's financial performance.
  • The CRO will work collaboratively with the executive team to develop and implement innovative revenue-generating initiatives that strengthen the organization's market position and long-term sustainability.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years proven track record in revenue generation, sales management, and financial leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role within the media/broadcasting industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive revenue strategies, aligning with the organization's overall business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, to optimize resource allocation and drive profitability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating high-performing sales and revenue teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the media and broadcasting industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to enhance revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and advocate for revenue-generating initiatives to the executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the capacity to think creatively, exploring innovative revenue streams and diversification opportunities.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity, serving as a role model for the organization.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in leading revenue generation for multi-platform media organization.
  • Expertise in digital media monetization, including digital advertising, content syndication, and e-commerce.
