Job Description
The Head of Corporate Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and operations of a leading broadcast organization.
With a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience, the successful candidate will be a strategic and analytical leader, driving the company's financial performance and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to support the organization's growth and profitability.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably within the media/broadcasting industry.
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
Exceptional financial management and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, including cash flow management, capital structure optimization, and investment appraisal.
Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing finance team while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate and adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends, ensuring the organization's financial resilience.
Proven experience in identifying and evaluating mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities, and advising on financial and operational implications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial challenges and provide timely, well-reasoned solutions.
