We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: IT Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Purpose of the Job
To coordinate, plan, and lead the computer-related activities in the organization. To determine the IT needs of the organization and responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements and ensure the compliance with the group IT policies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Manage Network and Security
Ensure the administration of local IT infrastructure.
Manage Backup and recovery plan.
Ensure and maintain end user IT support (local & Remote)
Monitor the performance of IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels.
Ensure high availability of the IT system.
Manage the local IT team.
Providing End user training
Adhere to the group IT Policies and procedures
Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Perform the required updates and upgrades in line with the group IT system evolutions.
Coordinate constantly with the Group IT Teams.
Provide the metrics, KPIs, and related reporting to the Group.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
Contribute to define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
Executive and follow up for IT procedures as an ISO system.
Participate as required in the development and review of QEH&S policy and objectives.
Managing the physical security of any computer system, server room, internet access.
Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the IT Systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervision of IT team activities and administration
Local IT infrastructure and related assets

Timely performance and submission of audit reports
Well preserved assets, information security and control structures.
Well managed Backup and recovery plan
Timely performance of required updates and upgrades in line with the group IT system evolutions.

Meeting of set IT targets on Deployments
Attained high usage of Group IT platforms by end users.
Up to date inventory and tracker hardware and software inventory
Executive and follow up for IT procedures as an ISO system.
Strict Adherence to Health and safety policies and procedures
Proven working experience of 5 years as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory and related services.
Strong Knowledge in Networking, Routing and Switching.
Cyber security experiences and Firewall management.
Strong Knowledge in servers configuration
Good understanding of Virtualization VMware and Azure Environment
High analysis skills for incidents troubleshooting.
Comfortable with working on multi-company structure with team spirit.
