Job Title: Head, People and Culture

Job Summary
The Head, People and Culture is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the development, implementation, and management of human resources policies, processes, and initiatives to ensure a high-performing and inclusive work environment.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the organization’s People and Culture strategy to align with overall business objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring they are embedded across all aspects of the organization.
Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.
Develop and implement employee retention strategies, including career development programs, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Shape and sustain a positive organizational culture that aligns with company values.
Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction through regular feedback mechanisms, surveys, and action plans.
Promote open communication and foster an environment of collaboration and respect.
Design and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
Ensure continuous professional growth opportunities through coaching, mentorship, and training initiatives.
Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry standards while maintaining equity across roles and departments.
Lead the development and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, evaluations, and recognition programs.
Provide guidance to managers on employee performance improvement and career development plans.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
Build, mentor, and lead the People and Culture team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
Serve as a role model for leadership behaviors and the organization’s core values.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: At least 7 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
Certifications: Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, CIPM, CIPD, or HRCI are preferred.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Experience with HR systems and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
