Job Description

• The "tech support" job description typically involves providing technical assistance to users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, answering inquiries, and resolving problems related to computer systems and networks, often through phone, email, or remote access, while maintaining excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities 
Key responsibilities may include:

• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Customer support: Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding technical issues.
• System installation and configuration: Installing and configuring new hardware and software applications for users.
• Account management: Creating and managing user accounts, including password resets.
• Remote assistance: Providing technical support remotely using specialized tools like remote desktop software.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of customer issues and solutions.
• Training: Providing basic training to users on new software or hardware functionalities.
• Escalation: Identifying complex issues and escalating them to senior technical support personnel when necessary.

Required Skills

• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac), software applications, and network fundamentals.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly explain technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Customer service skills: Ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, even in challenging situations.
• Attention to detail: Ability to accurately identify and resolve technical issues.

Salary
N70,000 - N100,000 monthly.
