Job Title: Business Development Engineer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Strategy:
Develop and implement strategies to grow the company's client base in project management consultancy, asset integrity management, and corrosion monitoring services.
Identify and analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to create targeted business proposals.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized service offerings that align with client requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and negotiations.
Build trust and rapport with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Project and Proposal Management:
Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for new opportunities.
Work closely with project management and technical teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Conduct presentations and pitch services to potential clients.
Market Research and Networking:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to promote services.
Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular updates to management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with technical teams to stay updated on service capabilities and innovations.
Provide feedback to the engineering and operations teams based on client requirements and industry trends.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery processes.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field).
A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical roles in the Oil and Gas industry.
Proven experience in project management, asset integrity management, or corrosion control services is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Asset Integrity Management, Inspection services, and Corrosion monitoring technologies.
Familiarity with Oil and Gas industry standards and regulations.
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
Key Skills:
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical and financial data.
Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
Technology:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Experience with project management software is a plus.
