Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Officer to oversee and coordinate production activities within our fragrance company.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that all processes, from formulation to packaging, adhere to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning and Coordination:

• Assist in developing and implementing production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Ensure optimal use of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and labor.
• Coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate stock levels for production.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct quality checks at various production stages and report any deviations or issues.

Process Monitoring and Reporting

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit production reports to the management team.

Team Supervision and Training:

• Supervise production staff and provide on-the-job training as needed.
• Ensure team adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Promote a positive and productive work environment.

Equipment and Facility Maintenance

• Ensure production equipment and tools are well-maintained and serviced regularly.
• Identify and report equipment faults to the maintenance team promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fragrance production.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in production, preferably in a fragrance, cosmetic.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and production management tools.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
