Job Title: Technical Store Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Desription

• Ensure the implementation of Inventory management system.
• To ensure accurate accounting of the materials receiver and issued.
• To ensure due proper safety measures taken for the safety of the store building, materials in the store and the men working in the store.
• To stock the materials received from vendors properly to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
• Maintains records and logs of items received,invoices and waybillsincluding description of articles, identifying information in accordance with established procedures
• Stock taking of supplies and equipment to determine quantityon hand, to review and/or reconcile stock records.
• Effective communication on the status of stock item in store.
• Strong coordination with team and user departments
• Ensure store environment is clean and arranged
• Ensure compliance with Organization policies and procedures, regulations and local law

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND in Engineering, Technology or equivalent Certificate in a technical or business-related discipline.
• Minimum 1 - 3 years previous experience as a store officer.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, and Outlook)
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to coordinate technical work effectively
• Good interpersonal skills.
