Job Title: Executive Driver

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Driver will be responsible for providing reliable and secure driving services for the Executive.
• This role requires a highly skilled and experienced driver who prioritizes safety, is vigilant, and maintains confidentiality.
• The individual will ensure the Executive’s comfort and security while adhering to all traffic regulations and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport the Executive to and from appointments, meetings, and events.
• Plan routes to ensure timely arrivals while considering potential risks or delays (e.g., traffic, road conditions).
• Adapt driving to different weather and traffic conditions, prioritizing safety and comfort
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before each trip to ensure operational safety (tires, brakes, lights, fuel, etc.).
• Monitor surroundings during travel and at destinations, identifying potential security threats.
• Use discretion in avoiding potentially unsafe areas or situations.
• Maintain constant communication with the Executive or assigned security personnel when necessary.
• Respect the Executive’s privacy and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Exhibit professionalism in appearance, communication, and behavior.
• Ensure conversations within the vehicle remain confidential.
• Keep the vehicle clean, both interior and exterior, at all times.
• Schedule regular maintenance and repairs as needed to avoid breakdowns.
• Maintain updated vehicle registration, insurance, and other necessary documents
• Log daily trips, including mileage, destinations, and time records.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the relevant department immediately.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a NCE or ONDor equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably as a personal or corporate driver.
• Previous training in defensive driving or security awareness is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of traffic rules and road safety practices.
• Familiarity with local and regional road networks.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to detect and avoid risks.
• Discretion, confidentiality, and trustworthiness.
• Good communication skills.

Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Certification in defensive driving or security-related training is a plus.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 Monthly.
