We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Brand Manager

Location: Festac, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to join our team atiMall Nigeria, an online marketplace company.
  • You will be responsible for enhancing the company's visibility, reputation, and customer engagement through strategic brand initiatives.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and drive awareness, loyalty, and growth by optimizing branding strategies based on market insights. Ideal candidates will have a passion for branding, a deep understanding of the online marketplace, strong communication and project management skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and campaigns to elevate the company's brand presence and perception in the market.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, events, and sponsorships, to effectively communicate the brand message and drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape, and leverage findings to inform brand positioning and messaging.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of branding and marketing projects.
  • Align brand identity with product development, design, and content teams, integrating branding and marketing initiatives across cross-functional projects.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, including brand awareness, perception and sentiment, and develop actionable insights and recommendations to optimize brand performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain brand reputation and image across all platforms and channels, and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and standards.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support brand initiatives and campaigns effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in brand management and marketing, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and activities, and benchmark our brand positioning and performance against them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the e-commerce or online marketplace industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Strong knowledge of branding and marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful branding and marketing campaigns across various channels and media.
  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis, and using data and insights to inform decision making.
  • Experience in working with external agencies and vendors, and managing budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and audiences.
  • Creative, analytical and strategic thinking, and the ability to solve problems and overcome challenges.
  • Proficient in using various tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, etc.
  • A team player with strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
