Joakins Farms Nigeria Limited is located at 7, Ilodo Road, Okejagun, Isoyin, Ogun State and our Lagos Depot is located at block D, unit 10, Small Scale Industrial Building, Fatai Atere Way, Matori, Mushin, Lagos State. Joakins Farms commenced operation in 2008 as an integrated farm in Fishery, Poultry, Piggery, Cattle and Manure processing.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Layer Farm Manager

Location: Ijebu Isoyin, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in a Managerial Role
• Capacity to Manage minimum of 50 people
• Managed Minimum of 100,000 Layer Birds
• Understanding of layer feed formulation, nutritional requirements, and feeding strategies.
• Familiarity with common diseases, vaccination programs, and biosecurity measures.
• Understanding of layer breeding, genetics, and selection principles.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Ability to be able to use Microsoft office tools for analysis and reporting.
• Ability to motivate, train, and supervise farm staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff.
• High level of Conflict resolution and negotiation skill
• Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions.
• Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform decision-making.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, such as disease outbreaks or market fluctuations.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality egg production and farm operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a clean and organized workenvironment.

Salary
N180,000 - 230,000 Monthly.
