Ensure effective management of client/ agency relationships to ensure timely delivery on projects and activations.
Channel enquiries and complaints on products and services from FirstContact and other sources to the relevant officers and ensure 360o closure.
Building on existing networks and develop where required internal communications contacts throughout the Bank; build a robust directory across the Group

Intranet - Liaising with IT team to leverage the intranet as an effective internal communications tool and to ensure it meets the needs of its audience.
Briefing materials - Manage and take responsibility for all messages to internal customers ensuring consistency, accuracy and avoid message conflicts.
Roadshows; Coordinate visits to regions, Groups, BDOs and Branches and online engagements, including the CEO’s Groupwide Webcasts, to ensure dissemination of strategic priorities and plans.
Ensure communication and activations tie into the overall strategic plan of the Bank and Group.
Enhance customer satisfaction through dissemination of regular information on Bank’s products, Services and initiatives as well as SSA Markets and HoldCo communications.
Evaluate the Bank and Group’s internal communications initiatives to ascertain effectiveness.
Ensure continuous improvement; develop regular feedback channels to promote cross-communication within FirstBank, monitor consistency, ensure improvement in communications and share best practices with colleagues and managers within the Bank.
Manage and deliver a complete merchandise process from BrandShopOnline to units and branches and ensure quality (in line with Brand Standard), timely availability and distribution of collaterals to enhance customer loyalty.
Provide merchandise support and logistics as required by subsidiaries and HoldCo leveraging the merchandise fair and other sourcing and presentation opportunities
Supervise and manage the activities of accredited vendors across the Group including the Price Monitoring Committee process to ensure appropriate pricing, timely delivery of briefs and brand conformity.
Coordinate all front-end and back-end activities of the BrandShop Online and BrandShop Warehouses.
Coordinate all merchandise and warehousing activities in the FirstBank Group.
Support the department’s Information Security Management Systems and Business Continuity Management activities to ensure compliance.
Comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.
Conduct thorough research on the Group’s historical events, personalities, figures, and processes using a wide range of sources, including primary and secondary literature, archives, libraries and digital databases, locally and globally.
Analyze and interpret historical data and facts for publications.
Collaborate with SBUs to develop research projects and exhibitions.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as archivists, curators, and historians from other institutions or consultant companies, to develop collaborative research projects or exhibitions.
Develop information, education and communication (IEC) programmes for internal and external stakeholders, viz employees, students, researchers, and other audiences to engage them in the study of the Group’s history and heritage.
Write and publish research papers, articles, or books on history and heritage.
Organize and maintain historical records and archival collections of historical documents, artifacts, and other materials, ensuring their preservation and accessibility in collaboration with relevant departments.
Job Requirements
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication or the Humanities.
A Bachelor’s Degree in the Sciences or Social Sciences with requisite experience.
A Master’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, History, International Relations or related discipline or an MBA as an added advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 15 years in Marketing/Corporate Communications in blue chip companies or Financial services with experience in brands development, brand standards, excellent writing and editing skills, publications management, audio-visual production management, internal engagement, culture and management of the overall brand experience delivery, Management of retail and legacy brands, Library and archives management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
