Job Title: Growth & Sales Lead

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • As the Growth and Sales Lead, you will play a key role in driving the platform’s expansion and revenue growth.
  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead sales and marketing initiatives to grow our user base, optimize customer retention, and position the organization as a leader in the online education industry.
  • This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a revenue-focused sales strategy with clear targets and KPIs.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals.

Marketing & User Acquisition:

  • Design and implement data-driven marketing campaigns to attract, engage, and retain users.
  • Manage and optimize marketing channels, including paid ads, email campaigns, social media, and content marketing.
  • Lead user acquisition initiatives such as referral programs, influencer collaborations, and affiliate partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop impactful marketing materials.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to identify areas for product innovation and improvement.
  • Implement retention strategies to reduce churn and maximize customer lifetime value.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales and marketing performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to the management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership, ideally in online education or e-learning.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Proficiency in sales and marketing tools, including CRM platforms and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for leading and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of marketing KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for driving growth.
