Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Sales Development Executives.
The Sales Development Executives will drive revenue growth and market expansion by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and providing technical expertise to clients in the poultry, fish, and pork farming sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the poultry, fish, and pork farming sectors.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with feed distributors, and key stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats.
Conduct regular visits to clients, farms, and feed mills to provide product solutions and recommendations.
Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, product support, and after-sales service.
Maintain accurate customer records, track sales performance, and provide regular reports using CRM tools.
Provide expert knowledge on animal-based protein products, including nutritional benefits and applications.
Educate clients on the appropriate use of products for optimal livestock growth and productivity.
Collaborate with technical teams to address customer queries related to feed formulation and product performance.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to adapt sales approaches accordingly.
Provide market intelligence reports to management for strategic planning and decision-making.
Identify potential challenges in the supply chain and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and inventory availability.
Assist in resolving order discrepancies, payment issues, and delivery challenges.
Follow ethical sales practices and adhere to corporate guidelines in all business dealings.
Educational and Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
A Master's degree or any advanced degrees or relevant certifications in business development are advantageous.
Minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
Experience within the agriculture or agro-product supply industry is highly preferred.
Qualifying Skills and Requirements
Deep understanding of animal nutrition and feed formulation.
Listening skills to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
Expert in developing sales strategies, closing deals, and achieving targets.
Familiarity with poultry, fish, and pork farming practices in Nigeria.

Experience with B2B sales cycles in the agricultural sector.
Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for tracking sales activities.
