Job Title: Aerobics and Yoga Coach

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Instruction and Class Management:

• Plan and Deliver Classes: Design and lead aerobics and yoga sessions that cater to a diverse audience, incorporating a mix of warm-ups, cardio, strength, flexibility, and cool-down exercises.
• Demonstrate Techniques: Clearly demonstrate poses, movements, and sequences with proper form and alignment, adapting them for different fitness levels.
• Engage Participants: Create a motivating and inclusive atmosphere to encourage active participation and sustained interest.
• Music and Ambience: Select suitable music and set the ambiance to enhance the overall class experience.

Client Support and Development:

• Assess Client Needs: Evaluate participants’ fitness levels and tailor programs to meet their specific goals.
• Safety Monitoring: Ensure correct techniques to prevent injuries and provide modifications for individuals with special needs or injuries.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain Equipment: Ensure all yoga mats, props, and aerobic equipment are clean and in good condition.
• Schedule Coordination: Manage class schedules and communicate changes promptly to participants.
• Attendance Records: Keep accurate records of class attendance and participation.

Professional Development:

• Stay Updated: Regularly attend workshops or obtain certifications to stay informed about new trends in fitness and wellness.
• Health Education: Educate clients about proper nutrition, breathing techniques, and lifestyle habits to support overall wellness.

Skills and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 3 - 5 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of aerobics and yoga techniques.
• Certified in relevant fitness disciplines (e.g., yoga certification, group fitness, CPR, and first aid).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire participants of all fitness levels.
• Patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs.

Salary
N80,000 - N250,000 monthly.
