Job Description
The HR Manager at Frutta will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals.
This role involves overseeing recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
The HR Manager will foster a positive workplace culture that supports growth and productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Employee Relations:
Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
Address employee grievances promptly and effectively.
Implement employee engagement programs and initiatives.
Performance Management:
Oversee performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
Set KPIs and monitor employee progress.
Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs in the plant and organize relevant training programs.
Facilitate career development and succession planning.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation structures.
Conduct salary reviews and market benchmarking.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
Maintain HR metrics and provide reports on HR activities.
Use data to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
