Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Manager - Digital Lending to lead and grow our digital lending initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and scaling lending products through digital platforms, ensuring customer satisfaction, market competitiveness, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development and Management:

• Develop and execute the strategy for digital lending products, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Create and manage a roadmap for lending products, prioritizing features and improvements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
• Lead the development of innovative loan products tailored to customer segments, such as personal loans, business loans, and microloans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, risk, compliance, and marketing) to ensure seamless product delivery and user experience.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitive opportunities in digital lending.
• Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) such as loan approval rates, default rates, and customer acquisition costs to evaluate product performance.
• Stay updated on regulatory and industry developments in the Nigerian financial services sector.

Digital Platform Optimization:

• Oversee the development and optimization of digital platforms (mobile apps, web portals, and USSD) for lending products.
• Drive the integration of advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and credit scoring algorithms to enhance loan processing and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure robust and scalable backend systems for seamless loan origination, disbursement, and repayment.

Customer Experience:

• Ensure the digital lending journey is intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with customer needs.
• Work with the customer support team to address feedback and improve service delivery.

Risk and Compliance:

• Collaborate with the risk and compliance teams to ensure that lending products adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
• Implement measures to mitigate risks associated with digital lending, including fraud prevention and credit risk management.

Partnership Development:

• Identify and build partnerships with fintech companies, payment service providers, and other stakeholders to expand Fundit’s lending ecosystem.
• Explore new distribution channels to increase loan product accessibility.

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in product management, with a focus on lending, digital financial services, or fintech.
• Proven track record of managing digital lending products, including development, launch, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial services industry, including credit risk management and regulatory compliance.

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of digital platforms, credit scoring models, and lending lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial and market data to drive decision-making.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with APIs, fintech integrations, and payment systems.
