Job Summary

• The Content Marketing Specialist at Earnipay is a strategic thinker and skilled executor who will lead all aspects of content marketing and communications to drive growth, engagement, and conversions.
• This role will take ownership of Earnipay's content platforms, including newsletters, blogs, video production, and multimedia campaigns, ensuring their alignment with broader business objectives.
• The ideal candidate excels in storytelling, SEO, analytics, and creative leadership, consistently driving results and elevating Earnipay’s brand.

Key Responsibilities
Content Marketing & Lead Generation:

• Newsletter Management: Oversee and grow The Friday File (B2C) and FastForward (B2B) newsletters. Ensure alignment with company goals and consistent growth in subscribers and engagement.
• Blog Strategy: Manage Earnipay’s blog, driving a consistent publishing schedule to increase monthly traffic, foster lead conversions, and establish thought leadership in Fintech.
• SEO & Traffic Growth: Conduct keyword research, optimize content for search engines, and implement strategies to achieve traffic growth and better search rankings for targeted keywords.

Creative Content Creation & Campaigns:

• Campaign Ideation & Execution: Develop and implement engaging content marketing campaigns for demand generation and brand awareness. Capitalize on seasonal opportunities, trends, and unique themes like Women’s Month, Christmas , etc.
• Video Production: Collaborate with the Video Specialist to ideate, script, and produce impactful video content for marketing campaigns and social platforms.
• Content Optimization: Continuously improve content across all platforms, including blogs, newsletters, videos, and social media, to maximize audience engagement and conversions.

Analytics & Optimization:

• Performance Tracking: Use tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or others to monitor content performance, website traffic, and lead conversions.
• Data-Driven Adjustments: Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategies to meet KPIs.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly performance reports, including newsletter growth, blog traffic, and campaign outcomes, with actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to integrate content efforts into broader marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid ads.
• Work closely with the Brand Designer and Video Specialist to produce cohesive, multimedia content that aligns with Earnipay’s visual and tonal identity.
• Support PR initiatives and internal communications as needed.

Community Engagement & Growth:

• Build and nurture an engaged community around Earnipay’s content platforms. Encourage audience interaction and feedback to foster loyalty and advocacy.
• Identify and establish partnerships or collaborations that enhance content reach and impact.
• Thought Leadership: Create whitepapers, guides, or long-form articles that establish Earnipay as a trusted authority in the industry.

Governance & Compliance:

• Content Quality: Establish and enforce content guidelines to maintain a consistent voice and tone across all materials.
• Content Library: Maintain a well-organized repository for all content assets for reuse and version control.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Preferred: Certification in Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, or SEO (e.g., HubSpot Content Marketing Certification, Google Analytics Certification, or similar).

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Copywriting & Storytelling: Excellent writing and editing skills across diverse formats, including blogs, emails, video scripts, and social media.
• Content Marketing Mastery: Proven ability to plan and execute content strategies that generate leads and improve conversion rates.
• Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and lead high-impact multimedia campaigns, including videos.
• SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO tools, strategies, and best practices for improving rankings and driving organic traffic.
• Analytics Proficiency: Experience with analytics tools to measure content effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaboration Skills: A team player who can work across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Execution Excellence: Strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, marketing communications, or a related field preferably in the fintech, SaaS, or tech industry.
• Demonstrated success in creating and managing content that drives traffic, engagement, and leads.
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress etc.
• Experience with SEO optimization and proven results in improving search rankings and organic traffic.
• Portfolio Required: Applicants should provide a portfolio of work showcasing content creation, strategy execution, and results. This may include blog articles, email campaigns, newsletters, scripts, SEO reports, and any multimedia content (e.g., videos, infographics) that highlights their capabilities in these areas.
