We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Project Design and Planning:

• Develop and design plans for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, dams, and water systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software.

Project Management:

• Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources.

Technical Analysis:

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and data to plan projects effectively.
• Evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adhere to environmental, safety, and quality standards throughout project execution.

Construction Oversight:

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to designs and safety protocols.
• Inspect completed projects for quality assurance and issue final approvals.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
• Communicate findings and updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license orcertification
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
