• The Private Live-In Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the dietary preferences and needs of the household. The chef will plan menus, source fresh ingredients, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• This role requires flexibility, culinary creativity, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences in a private residence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals for the household, considering dietary preferences, allergies, and nutritional needs.
• Source fresh, seasonal ingredients, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning all cooking utensils, appliances, and surfaces.
• Create and update menus regularly, offering a variety of cuisines and dishes.
• Manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Handle meal service, including setting the table and serving meals as required.
• Adapt to special requests or last-minute changes to meal plans.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
• Plan and prepare meals for special occasions or events hosted by the household.
• Collaborate with household staff to ensure a seamless service and dining experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional chef, preferably in a private household setting.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
• Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
• Ability to create personalized meal plans catering to specific dietary requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays and accommodate changing schedules.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Discretion and respect for the privacy of the household.
