Job Title: Studio Assistant

Location: Sangotedo, Ajah axis - Lagos

Job Summary

• The candidate for the position of Studio Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio, assisting in the production of handcrafted props, managing studio organization, and contributing to the creative process.
• The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, creative, and capable of working in a dynamic and hands-on environment.

Key Job Responsibilities
Production Assistance:

• Assist in creating handcrafted props, including cutting, assembling, painting, and finishing materials.
• Follow design guidelines provided by the lead designer or creative director.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Material Management:

• Organize and manage studio materials, tools, and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of needed supplies.

Studio Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment.
• Handle proper storage and care of props and tools.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with team members on project timelines and deadlines.
• Assist in packaging and preparing props for delivery or installation.
• Provide on-site support during installations, themed parties, or events if needed.

Creative Contribution:

• Offer creative input during brainstorming or design sessions.
• Research trends and provide insights for innovative prop ideas.
• Suggest improvements to streamline production processes.

Client Interaction (Occasional)

•  Assist in presenting mock-ups or samples to clients when required.
• Support event set-up and teardown as part of the client service experience.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain production schedules and timelines for multiple projects.
• Document processes and maintain a record of completed works.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in arts, crafts, or a related field is an added advantage
• Must be willingness to learn and passion for handmade design are essential.

Skills:

• Proficient in handling crafting tools and materials.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic knowledge of painting, sculpting, or other creative techniques.

Work Conditions:

• This role may involve some manual labor, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working with various materials and tools.

Salary
Salary: N90,000 - N120,000 per month.
