We provide various expert support services to the upstream segment of the Oil & Gas Industry in Nigeria and the West African sub-region.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary (Role Purpose Statement)
The Business Development Manager will work towards business expansion activities of the organization, improving market position, locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
Main Accountabilities
Improving the market position, locating, developing, defining, and closing business contracts.
Lead the formulation, execution, and monitoring of the company’s business development, market penetration strategies, and plans for enhancing business growth.
Responsible for the design/implementation of strategies to get the Company registered and sustained with International Oil Companies as Vendors and Contractors.
Develop business dealings from DPR Permits to NIPEX product codes documentation and source for jobs.
Proactively develop and nurture cordial relationships with all the Government Regulatory agencies (NUIMS/NAPIMS, NUPRC, NIMASA, NCDMB etc.).
Responsible for coordinating strategic planning and business development functions of the company in areas where we already have DPR Permits including Marine Vessel Supply & Operations, Offshore Operations Support Services among others, and new business prospect areas.
Lead negotiations and close deals to secure profitable contracts.
Responsible for liaising with International Oil Companies and Major Oil Companies in identifying and executing profitable business opportunities.
Prepare all documentation necessary for requests for proposals (RFPs), Expression of Interest (EOI), and Invitation to Tender (ITT).
Gathering new intelligence and providing updates on upcoming and ongoing key projects in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry, identifying emerging market opportunities, and analyzing industry trends.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities and strategies for partnership
Oversee business development projects from inception to completion.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
All other functions as assigned by the Managing Director from time to time
Essentials
Strong relationship with Key personnel working with IOC’s & NOC’s.
Strong relationship with key personnel; working in NEPL, NUIMS/NAPIMS, NIPEX, NUPRC, and NCDMB.
Must have experience working in the upstream oil service sector
Must have adequate experience in a company with a similar business
Ability to source jobs, with verifiable track records of jobs initiated, won, and completed, understanding the workings of the industry and key markets
Have great business relationships with IOCs and servicing companies
Time management and planning skills
Requirements
6 – 8 years experience in business development, in upstream oil and gas
Minimum Educational Qualification: B.Sc in any related field
Strong Financial and Analytical skills
Computer Literate (Knowledge of Microsoft suites and other related software)
Project Management certification and Experience is an advantages.
