Job Title: Finance Manager

Description 

• A premier healthcare organization with a diverse portfolio of subsidiaries, with operations spanning Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt, the Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional health and wellness solutions.
• We are seeking to hire a Finance Manager to lead the finance team and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and revenue generation activities for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and supervise the finance teams across all subsidiaries and branches.
• Define clear roles and responsibilities for finance team members, ensuring accountability.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative work environment within the finance department.
• Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Regularly review team performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

• Develop and oversee annual and long-term financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead the preparation, consolidation, and review of budgets across subsidiaries and branches.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide actionable management insights.
• Identify variances in financial performance and recommend adjustments to achieve targets.
• Create and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity and operational continuity.

Revenue Management:

• Implement strategies to enhance revenue generation and profitability.
• Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities for diversification and growth.
• Analyze revenue trends and prepare reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Establish pricing models and strategies that align with market trends and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve financial and revenue targets.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for stakeholders, including executive management.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to inform decision-making at strategic levels.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Present financial performance insights and trends to management and the board of directors.
• Ensure all financial statements and reports adhere to applicable accounting standards.

Compliance & Cost Management:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Design and implement internal controls to protect financial assets and prevent fraud.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Review operational costs and recommend measures to achieve cost savings.
• Lead cost control initiatives without compromising operational or service quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) are mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.

Salary
N380,000 - N450,000 monthly.
