The station operates from Visual Broadcast House, located after Emordi Street along Old Lagos-Asaba Road in Owa Ekei, Delta State. Listeners can tune in to Sleek 101.9 FM online via their official website. The station's mission focuses on providing awareness, equality, diversity, heritage, and opportunities through music, podcasts, showcases, and other initiatives. Their vision is to be a leading broadcast platform for African music, fostering connections and support within the music industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing / Sales Executive

Location: Agbor Delta,
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of the Role

  • The Marketing/Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • This role focuses on building strong relationships with advertisers, sponsors, and partners, while ensuring the broadcaster’s content and brand are effectively marketed to achieve maximum audience engagement and revenue potential.
  • Previous experience does not have to be in the broadcast industry. Realistic posibility of earning up to N1,000,000.00 monthly.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with advertisers, sponsors, and partners.
  • Negotiate and close deals for advertising slots, sponsorship packages, and partnerships.

Marketing and Brand Management:

  • Develop marketing campaigns to promote the broadcaster’s content, brand, and services.
  • Collaborate with the programming and production teams to align marketing strategies with content goals.
  • Manage brand positioning to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for advertisers and sponsors, providing exceptional service and tailored solutions.

Market Analysis and Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive insights.
  • Use data analytics to track campaign performance, audience reach, and sales effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management based on insights.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve collective goals.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster collaboration between departments to drive cohesive marketing and sales efforts.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with financial targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably within the media,broadcast or financial industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and developing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial broadcasting landscape, including advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 per month.
