Job Title: Junior Consultant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• This role involves supporting the development and implementation of strategies to manage client's reputation, communication, and relationships with various stakeholders, including the public, government officials, media, and interest groups.

Responsibilities

• Creating proposals for new clients based on their needs and goals
• Developing client relationships by meeting with them regularly to assess their needs and progress
• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships
• Creating forecasts and reports on client activity in order to present information in an understandable manner
• Conducting research to gather data about a client’s industry, competitors, or specific topics related to their business goals
• Communicating with clients regularly to provide updates or answer questions about their projects
• Support senior consultants in all aspects of project work, including proposal development, team management, and client interactions
• Providing strategic advice to clients about how to improve their businesses
• Coordinating with other consultants to execute projects on time and within budget
• Preparing presentations and training materials to educate clients on topics such as marketing strategies, social media best practices, or business leadership skills
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed, including creating new ones as needed
• Help develop new business opportunities by identifying potential leads and conducting preliminary outreach
• Participate in internal initiatives to improve firm-wide processes and capabilities
• Attend networking events and conferences on behalf of the company
• Stay up-to-date on relevant industry trends and news
• Contribute to the development of junior staff members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Public Relations, Mass Communication or related field
• 3 - 7 years of professional work experience, preferably in consulting or a similar role
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and other useful and relevant software applications.
• Ability to conduct research, interpret findings and write proposals
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage projects with and without supervision
• Business and Political acumen is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
