Job Title: Site Engineer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the on-site construction of a variety of water features, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, including excavation, concrete work, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate their work schedules.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or challenges.
• Implement corrective actions to address any issues that arise.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials.
• Identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Perform quality control checks on all stages of construction.

Safety Management:

• Implement and enforce all safety procedures and regulations on site.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel.

Budget and Schedule Management:

• Monitor project costs and ensure they are within budget.
• Track project progress against the schedule and identify any potential schedule delays.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to the Project Manager.

Client Communication:

• Maintain regular communication with clients to address any concerns or questions.
• Conduct site visits with clients to review progress and address any issues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and inspection reports.
• Prepare as-built drawings and other required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry, with a strong preference for experience in water features, landscaping, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Project Management software).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
