The Programme Officer, Border Management is under the supervision of the PPO Border Management and Migrationwhom s/ he assists in the development of strategies and programs related to the Border Management.
Responsibilities
Assist in theimplementation of the Protocolon Free Movement of Persons, the Right of Residence and Establishment through dialogue with Member States;
Assist intheharmonizing the procedures for ECOWAS Travel Documents;
Simplifying immigration formalities for ECOWAS nationals by ensuring acceptance of the use of accepted travel documents;
Assist in information dissemination on the Protocol relating to Free Movement of Persons, the Right of Residence and Establishment;
Assist in developingpolicies and procedures for the elimination of harassments on the highways and at the borders.
What your day might look like:
Develop and manage Automotive Aftermarket (AA) division for Nigeria
Serving as a liaison between the dealership and customers
Conducting telephone and in-person transactions
Receiving customers, discussing, identifying and progressing routine service, repair and parts requirements
Discussing and identifying manufacturer’s warranty with customers
Promoting the sale of service and accessories
Learning the terminology of the automobile business
Attending company training sessions as required
Any Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Lead all Sales activities as well as disciplinary leader of all other local functions, Customer Supply Chain Services, Customer Marketing Services, and Technical Services
Apply leadership instruments, implement a growth culture, internalize and apply Bosch leadership principles
Anticipate trends and their impact
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Relations, International Diplomacy, Public Administration, Sociology, History, Law or Political Science from a recognized University.
2 years’ work experience in the area ofregional integration competitive trade, acquisition planning, supply chain management, procurement, infrastructure and natural resources management, programme development and management;
Demonstratedknowledge of West-African regional cross-border cooperation, West African migrations and migration policies protocol on free movement, the Right of Residence and Establishment and boundary delineation and demarcation.
Conceptual, analytical and evaluative knowledge and competence to conduct independent research and analysis, including familiarity with the use of various research sources, including electronic sources on the internet, intranet and other databases;
Knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts and approaches relevant toparticularsector and functional area, such as the automated system for customs data base;
Demonstrateexperience in immigration duties willbe an addedadvantage.
The member states of ECOWAS are: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo

Salary
$2,500 - $3,200 / Month.
