We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs.
• Document and analyze requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.

Process Improvement:

• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements.
• Design workflows and process models to optimize operations.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate insights and plans.

Solution Development:

• Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and testing solutions to ensure they meet business needs.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze business data to identify trends and insights.
• Use tools like Excel, SQL, or BI software to generate reports.

Project Management Support:

• Contribute to project planning and execution.
• Monitor project progress and address potential issues.

Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Visio, Tableau).
• Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, or related field. Master degree holder is an added advantage.
• Experience in a similar role, typically 2-5 years.
• Certifications like CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA are a plus.
