The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to the secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. The college which is enriched with stately built school premises in a serene and conducive environment with modern facilities commenced operations in 2005

Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Biology Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences and a commitment to fostering a love for learning among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive biology lessons that align with the curriculum and inspire academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the educational curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Use innovative teaching methods to make biology concepts engaging and comprehensible.
• Evaluate and monitor students’ academic progress through assessments, tests, and assignments.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency and quality in education delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of students' performance and attendance.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, or a related field. A postgraduate teaching qualification is a plus.
• 3 to 6 years of teaching experience, preferably at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the biology curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement strategies.
• Ability to use technology and educational tools effectively in teaching.
• Must reside in Ibadan or within close proximity to Ibadan.

Remuneration

• Salary: N60,000 - N75,000 monthly.
• Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
