Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure security systems (e.g., alarms, CCTV) are functioning.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, or suspicious activities promptly.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain safety on the property.
• Control access to buildings and verify identification of visitors.
• Prepare detailed incident reports for security breaches or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with security equipment (e.g., CCTV, alarm systems).
• Certification in security training or licensing (if required by local laws).

Preferred:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and monitoring systems.
