We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Restaurant and Bar Waitress

Location: Jikwoyi, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description
Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.

Order Management:

• Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
• Monitor table needs and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Check on guests throughout their meal to address any additional requests or concerns.

Food and Beverage Service:

• Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and guest complaints professionally.
• Clear and reset tables promptly for the next guests.

Cleanliness and Organization:

• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiments.
• Assist with stocking supplies and setting up the dining area for service.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Payment Processing:

• Present bills to guests, process payments, and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.
• Ensure accurate reporting of tips and sales at the end of the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Other Requirements:

• Must be living along Nyanya-Karshi Axis
• Good stamina and ability to work in a busy environment.
