Job Title: Chinese - English Translator

Location: Opebi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Translate a variety of documents including website content, marketing materials, user manuals, and technical documents from Chinese to English.
• Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate for the target audience.
• Edit and proofread translations to guarantee quality and adherence to company standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and terminology to provide the most relevant translations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
• Previous experience in translation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with translation software and tools is advantageous.
• Ability to understand and adapt to various cultural contexts.
