Job Title: Enterprise ERP Business Admin Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Ericsson Mediation System ADM Specialist responsible for the administration, configuration, business development, and integration of the Ericsson Mediation System.
The specialist will play a key role in ensuring that the mediation platform is optimally configured to support business growth, by integrating network elements and downstream systems such as billing and BSS systems.
This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to configure new services, implement business rules, and integrate the system with existing telecom infrastructure, without direct operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Administration and System Configuration:
Administer and configure the Ericsson Mediation System to ensure it meets current and future business needs.
Manage system parameters, rules, and workflows related to mediation processes.
Perform advanced configurations to support new services, pricing models, and network elements, ensuring that data flows smoothly to downstream systems.
Apply updates, patches, and version upgrades to maintain system stability and security, in coordination with the IT and network teams.
Business Development Support:
Work closely with the business team to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements within the Ericsson Mediation System.
Support the introduction of new products and services by configuring and adapting mediation rules to capture and process data effectively.
Collaborate with business units to enhance service offerings, such as creating new billing categories, managing charging rules, and integrating with CRM and other BSS systems.
Conduct feasibility analysis for the development of new services and features, ensuring they align with system capabilities and business goals.
Integration and System Interface Management:
Lead the integration of the Ericsson Mediation System with various network elements, billing systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and other BSS systems.
Develop and maintain integration points between the mediation system and other telecom platforms, ensuring smooth data transfer between systems.
Configure and support interfaces for new services and network upgrades, adapting data collection and mediation rules as necessary.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth implementation of system integrations.
Mediation Process Enhancement:
Continuously review mediation processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation, improving overall system efficiency.
Implement custom business logic in the mediation platform to support complex data mediation requirements, such as multi-service data collection and advanced rating.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance system features and add new functionalities that support business growth.
Ensure proper management of mediation data formats, such as converting data from network elements into billing-compatible formats.
Business Rule and Service Configuration:
Configure business rules within the mediation platform to reflect changes in service offerings, including new tariffs, pricing models, and promotions.
Collaborate with product and billing teams to ensure that all mediation configurations are accurate and aligned with billing requirements.
Test and validate business rule configurations to ensure accuracy in service delivery, charging, and billing processes.
Work on the lifecycle management of services, including the implementation of upgrades, configuration changes, and the phasing out of legacy services.
Documentation and Knowledge Management:
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, integration points, and business rules related to the mediation platform.
Maintain a knowledge base of best practices, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation to support continuous improvement of mediation system processes.
Ensure that all documentation is kept up-to-date, reflecting the latest configurations, integrations, and service changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in administering, configuring, and integrating telecom mediation systems, preferably with Ericsson Mediation.
Strong understanding of telecom mediation processes, including CDR and EDR processing, and integration with billing and BSS systems.
Proven experience in system configuration and business development for telecom systems, with a focus on supporting business growth and service innovation.
Strong expertise in integration management, working with both network and business support systems (BSS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ericsson Mediation.
Experience with other telecom systems, such as billing, CRM, OSS, and network management systems.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API integration in a telecom environment.
