Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Admin Officer

Job Purpose

  • As the Front Desk Officer at Adia Hospital, you will be crucial in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and visitors.
  • You will manage the front desk operations, handle inquiries, and provide administrative support to various departments.
  • Your role is vital in maintaining the smooth flow of our hospital’s daily activities and upholding our reputation for exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is always tidy and presentable.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinic time.
  • Handle patient registrations, ensuring accurate entry of patient information.
  • Respond to patient and visitor inquiries, addressing concerns and providing information about hospital services.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to facilitate smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
