Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Waitress/Waiter with solid Customer service experience to join our restaurant team.
Responsibilities
Customer Interaction:
Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
Provide menus and offer detailed information on menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
Answer customer inquiries about ingredients, preparation, and dietary accommodations.
Order Management:
Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
Handle special requests or modifications to orders.
Table Service:
Monitor tables and attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience.
Refill drinks, clear plates, and replace utensils as needed.
Reset tables for the next customers promptly and efficiently.
Billing and Payment:
Prepare and present bills accurately to customers.
Process payments using cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payment methods.
Cleanliness and Hygiene:
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
Ensure all serving tools and equipment are sanitized regularly.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
Adhere to workplace safety regulations, including handling hot dishes or beverages safely.
Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Communicate effectively with other team members, especially during busy shifts.
Upselling and Recommendations:
Recommend menu items or drinks based on customer preferences.
Upsell specials, desserts, or premium options when appropriate.
Problem Solving:
Handle customer complaints or concerns calmly and professionally.
Escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor or manager as needed.
Miscellaneous Duties:
Assist with organizing and restocking supplies in the dining area.
Support other team members during peak hours or events.
Skills and Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior training or certification in hospitality or food service is a plus.
Experience:
3+ years previous experience as a waitress, server, or in a related hospitality role is an advantage.
Familiarity with POS systems and order management tools is beneficial.

Remuneration
Salary: N60,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
Accommodation will be provided.
