Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and oversee financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management:

• Post and reconcile financial transactions, including cash sales, credit sales, assets, and liabilities.
• Maintain accurate and updated records for all general ledger accounts.

Compliance and Statutory Deductions:

• Manage VAT, WHT, rent, and other statutory deductions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure adherence to financial and regulatory standards.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Daily Operations Management:

• Oversee daily accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate financial record keeping.
• Leverage accounting software/ERP systems for efficient financial management.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc / HND in Accounting.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Professional Qualification: Membership with ICAN (student or qualified).

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in using accounting software/ERP systems.

• Smart, analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Willingness to work and thrive in Lekki.

Remuneration
N300,000 - N350,000 monthly- Negotiable.
