We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts at our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales within the financial services & fintech sector, particularly with API-driven solutions, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing and executing sales initiatives, leading a team of Sales Associates, and ensuring the successful expansion of our embedded finance solutions in the market.
  • Additionally, you should bring a strong network of high-net-worth business owners and influential individuals and demonstrate the ability to establish global partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for our banking and payment infrastructure solutions, driving revenue and market share growth.
  • Lead, recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging a strong network of high-net-worth business owners and influential stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
  • Establish and negotiate strategic global partnerships to expand the company’s market presence and influence.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, trends, and emerging opportunities within the embedded finance and fintech industries.
  • Focus on API-driven B2B sales, identifying opportunities for embedding financial solutions in client operations and businesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment on sales strategies and successful product delivery.
  • Create and present sales presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management and key clients.
  • Monitor sales performance, provide regular updates to management, and implement adjustments to ensure targets are consistently met.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, market trends, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in the fintech space.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on the technology sales, particularly in API sales.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving sales and revenue growth in the fintech space, with a strong understanding of API solutions and their integration into business operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of influential business owners, partners, and decision-makers.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking and payment rails, market dynamics, and customer needs within the fintech ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to market changes.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Remuneration
N500,000 - N2,000,000 Monthly (Depending on the candidates’ experience / qualifications).
