Software Developer (Mid to Senior Level) - Remote at Alpha Global

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Software Developer (Mid to Senior Level)

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable software applications across both front-end and back-end platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and QA, to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration of applications.
• Secure Coding: Follow secure coding best practices to protect user data and ensure software security. Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• API Integrations: Develop and manage APIs to integrate with third-party services and internal systems.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts, ensuring your work is well-documented and easily understandable by other developers.
• Cloud & DevOps: Utilize DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to streamline development and deployment processes. Leverage CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker) for efficient delivery.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or additional training in development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) is a plus.

Experience:

• Over 5 years of experience in software development with a portfolio of projects demonstrating your expertise in building secure, scalable applications.
• Experience in both front-end and back-end development (Full Stack) is highly preferred.
• Certifications: o Optional but Advantageous: AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Oracle Certified Professional (Java SE).

Technical Skills:

• Languages: Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript. Additional experience in TypeScript, C#, or PHP is beneficial.
• Frameworks: Strong knowledge of React, Angular (front-end), and Django, Spring Boot, or Express.js (back-end).
• Databases: Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
• DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).

Salary
N600,000 - N800,000 Monthly.
