Oyin 'Deka Studios is an Arts and Design company that specialises in creating colourful abstract artworks and easy-to-wear, hand-painted clothing. Our goal is to infuse colour into the lives of adults who may have lost touch with it and to make art more accessible to the general public through affordable, colourful pieces. Job Summary

• We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented In-House Tailor to create and alter garments for our company's needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Create and alter garments, including dresses, suits, and other apparel, to meet the company's needs.
• Take measurements, create patterns, and cut fabric for garments.
• Sew, hem, and finish garments using industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques.
• Alter and repair existing garments to extend their lifespan.
• Collaborate with the design team to create custom designs and patterns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the sewing area and storage facilities.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality garments on time

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a tailor or seamstress.
• Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques.
• Excellent sewing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently.
• Ability to take measurements, create patterns, and cut fabric accurately.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; fashion design or related degree preferred.
