The Furniture department's Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving the sales and marketing activities of the company.
They track market developments, create strategies, set up sales plans, and maintain customer relations.
In addition to managing staff, the sales and marketing executive’s job responsibilities include developing and researching marketing opportunities and sales strategies to ensure that these responsibilities are met.
Responsibilities
Developing sales and marketing strategies and communicating job expectations by analyzing the existing gaps, planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing job contributions.
Responsible for generating leads and meeting sales targets.
Follow up with leads and existing clients to provide more information, address concerns, and nurture the relationship.
Maintaining ongoing account management. 5. Responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish when selling products or services to other businesses.
Identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential customers, negotiating, and closing deals.
Manage sales pipeline progress, including updating the CRM systems, tracking leads, and managing tasks and deadlines.
Understand clients' needs and requirements through design briefs.
Conceptualize product descriptions and designs.
Review key brand requests, proposals, and materials across businesses to ensure appropriate positioning.
Collect and analyze data on customer preferences and factors affecting product demand, and make business-oriented recommendations to the company.
Conduct market intelligence, analyze competitors' strategies, and report the same along with recommendations.
Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
Be responsible for managing, developing, coaching, controlling, and motivating the sales force to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and that monthly sales targets and KPI targets are met.
Assess the SWOT analysis of the internal and external sales and marketing environments of the company.
Achieve marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertisements.
Provide information and strongly participate in different bids (B2G and B2B).
Conduct sales meetings regularly and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
Follow up with the distribution process of products.
Education, Qualification and Experience
MA or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Architecture, Interior Design, and Furniture Design related field from a recognized university.
At least four (4) years of relevant experience in sales of mattresses and furniture including at least two (2) years of managerial experience in similar organizations, is required.
Proven experience as a Physical Product Designer or similar role.
Proven experience in B2B and B2G sales.
Good knowledge of sales and marketing in the mattress and furniture field is preferred.
Skill and Competences:
Ability to negotiate and close deals.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and other designing software).
Proven ability to prioritize and initiate follow-through.
Ability to work independently and manage one's own time.
Strong problem-solving and project-management abilities.
