Carry out and maintain the operational activities of the assigned station in a safe, uninterrupted, and timely manner, and keep the passenger satisfaction at the highest level within the scope of the national, international and supranational legislations and the Company’s rules and regulations.
Send, answer, and organize the messages related to their job, and reply to the relevant phone, fax, email, and telex messages.
Enter, when necessary, the inputs stipulated within the scope of Direct Operational Procurement (DOP), all kinds of invoices and documents for payments of the services received from the supplier company into the system within the specified period.
Inform passengers on passports, exit permits, foreign exchange, etc. within the scope of passenger services activities.
Resolve the problems encountered in the passenger relations at the station or report them to their superior.
Follow the procedures for obtaining civil aviation permits when necessary.
Meet the aircraft, provide coordination and communication between the crew and the handling, catering, and cleaning companies as well as air traffic, customs, and immigration administration.
Open an IRROPS Irregular Operations/Irregularity Communication System record in case of delays, file type change requests through OPSYS, communicate with the cockpit/respond to incoming messages through ACARS (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) when needed.
Prepare daily flight documents in full, order daily catering, request additional catering when necessary during the check-in process, and keep all kinds of records related to the flight, monitor the number of caterings over webcom, and update periodic additional catering requests in coordination with the central units.
Prepare incoming/outgoing co-mail forms and deliver/receive the relevant co-mail to/from the aircraft.
File the flight documents completely and correctly after the flight, make sure that the status of the coupons for the flight is changed to flown, and keep the statistics of the flight coupons.
Help passengers before the flight, and try to fulfill passenger demands within the limits of possibilities.
Ensure that the passengers are directed to the exit gate of the aircraft, and make or ensure that the delay announcements are made if the aircraft is delayed. Make or have an announcement made during boarding so that the late passengers come to the flight gate. If there are arriving/departing VIP/CIP/passengers requiring special service, accompany such passengers.
Requirements
BSc / HND in any relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a station agent in Airline/Travelling Agencies
Good Communication Skills
Establishing and Maintaining Business Relationships.
Salary
N290,000 monthly.
