Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba began in 1987 at the former Asaba technical College, (ATC) at its temporary site. Asaba is a rapidly developing Urban Centre and the administrative headquarters of Delta State. The permanent site of the college is along Asaba/Ibusa Road. The College consist of the School of Education, the School of Business Education, the School of Technical Education, the School of Vocational Education and the School of Computer and Science Education. The basic mission of the college is to improve the quality of Technical Education.

Job Summary
The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College, and is responsible to the Provost for the general administrative work and running of the College;
Keeps all records of staff and students; Conducts and receives all correspondences of Council and Management;
In addition to other duties conferred by the Federal Colleges of Education Act, 2023, be the Secretary to Council, Management Committee, Academic Board and any Committee of Council;
Performs any other function which the Council or Provost may so direct.
Requirements
The candidate for the post must possess the following qualifications and qualities:
A good honors degree in any of the Social Sciences/Art Subjects from any recognized institutions of higher learning;
Must possess relevant Master's Degree for a recognized Institution of higher learning with at least eighteen (18) years cognate work experience. Possession of doctorate degree is an added advantage;
Must have been a Deputy Registrar on CONTEDISS 15;
Evidence of continuous Mandatory Professional Development;
Proficiency in Information
Communication Technology (ICT); and
Must be a member of a recognized professional body in a relevant field; and
Successful candidate must not be above the age of fifty-nine (59) years of age at the time of taking up the appointment.
Tenure of Appointment
The appointment is for single tenure of five (5) years.
The salary/remunerations are contained in conditions of Service for Registrar of Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria, and may be determined by Government policies from time to time.
