Job Title: Procurement Admin Officer

Location: Warri, Delta

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for drugs, consumables, and medical supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels to ensure stock availability.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Collaborate with medical and pharmacy teams to meet the hospital's needs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-effective options.
• Track and report on procurement spending and savings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacology or Pharmacy.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the healthcare sector, with a focus on purchasing drugs and consumables.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and procurement standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solvingskills.
