The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) is the premier professional body for the control, supervision, and regulation of credit management profession in Nigeria; formed in 1992 as the “Institute of Credit Administration –ICA” and became chartered by the Act of Parliament No.26 of 2022. The Institute is the most prestigious body of eminent credit management elites, business leaders and credit-using entrepreneurs in the country. The Institute is the Supervisory Authority for the Act, vested with the power to enhance, promote, and protect the interests of business credit providers and grantors; consulting with and making recommendations to the government, regulatory bodies, trade associations, academic community and other professional bodies on all matters relating to credit management.

Job Title: Conference and Events Organizing Manager

Background
Springing from the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) Act No 26 of 2022 which gives the institute the power to control, supervise and regulate credit management profession in Nigeria, promoting and protecting the interests of credit providers/grantors, consulting with and make recommendations to the Government on all matters relating to credit management; and with the recent proclaimation of “Credit Management a national profession, and it’s qualifications nationally recognized” by the Federal Government represented by the Vice – President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the National Credit Managers Conference in Lagos, NICA is set to educate, train, inform and create national and global awareness about the impact of credit economy in the race for national economic development.
To achieve it’s statutory mandate therefore, NICA has lined up series of talkshop events that will take place in several local and international locations focusing primarily on the credit economy, credit management, credit access, and credit obligations.
Against this backdrop, NICA is looking for the services of a qualified and experienced person for the role of Conference and Events Organizing Manager.
Requirements
The person we are looking for must possess the following competencies:
From seamless planning to total execution of all NICA Conferences & Public Events locally and internationally.
Loads of network of contacts that guarantees sponsorship of all NICA conferences, public events, as well as sourcing of conference speakers.
Amiable and extroverted personality, a quick business thinker, unbeatable business proposal writing skills, and an excellent public speaking ability.
Honesty, Integrity, Hardwork and Loyalty are 4 key words that must guide the conduct of the person occupying this role.
Remuneration
Expected remuneration for this role is between N250,000 and N300,000(Gross) subject to review based on productivity target. There is also performance incentive reward between 0.1% and 0.3% if target exceeded.
